Description: Springerle Emporium exclusive! Our Carousel Horse design is based on the masterfully carved and painted wooden horse figures created for the carousels of late 1800's/early 1900's. You can imagine the distinctive, joyful music of the calliope and hundreds of light bulbs brightly illuminating the carousel as it spins. The larger size of this cookie makes it a lovely party favor for baby showers, Christenings, children's birthdays, and horse lovers everywhere. Simply magical for Christmas! Also use it to create paper casts, tragacanth ornaments, molded buttercream, and more. This is a deeply carved mold.
This is a Limited Edition mold which was custom created in 2025 for the Pastry Team of a well known hotel and entertainment company. Only 15 copies will be available for purchase.
Special Tip for Deep/Large Molds Springerle: This is a deeply carved design. Low and slow baking is the key to success with a mold of this size and depth. The cookies in the photo were made using the Perfection Springerle recipe, dough rolled to 1/2". Baked 45-60 minutes at 225 F.
The ornaments in the photos were made using Delight Modeling Compound, accented with gold acrylic paint.
