Description: The Christopher Ludwick cookie board is an 18th century, two sided carved gingerbread mold once used by Christopher Ludwick, Superintendent of Bakers under General George Washington during the Revolutionary War. The original mold -- which resides in the Museum of the American Revolution -- features two designs: an intricate potted flower on one side and a well dressed lady on the other. In partnership with the museum, House on the Hill is proud to offer you a faithful reproduction of Ludwick's mold. A printed gingerbread recipe and history card are included with your purchase. This mold also makes beautiful springerle!
Size: 6.5" x 3.625" x 1.125"
Cookie Cutter Set: Two piece set
We also offer smaller, single side versions of this mold if you prefer to purchase either the Potted Flower or the Revolutionary Lady if you prefer to purchase the molds individually.
