Description: The Christopher Ludwick gingerbread mold is an 18th century carved board once used by Christopher Ludwick, a Superintendent of Bakers under General George Washington during the Revolutionary War. The original mold -- which resides in the Museum of the American Revolution -- features two designs: an intricate potted flower on one side and a well dressed woman on the other.
In partnership with the museum, House on the Hill is proud to offer you our faithful reproduction of the POTTED FLOWER SIDE of Ludwick's mold. A printed gingerbread recipe and history card are included with your purchase. This single sided version is smaller than the original two sided mold and measures 5.25" x 3"
