Description: This is a stunningly detailed, enormously sized springerle cookie mold depicting the Nativity. Originally carved in 1654, this work of art is 13" in diameter. When not being used to create fondant cake toppers, a single cookie, or smaller cookies focusing on the different sections, this mold displays beautifully on the wall or as a star in your collection.

The center scene features Mary kneeling above the infant Jesus in the manger. The Magi, donkeys, and Joseph look on. The date "1654" is carved underneath. The outer border consists of six different animals, each in their own crescent shaped section: lamb, goat, dog, rabbit, duck, and cow, In between the sections are fruits and flowers representing life and bounty.

Purchase of this mold includes free shipping to U.S. addresses.

Size: 13" diameter

House on the Hill Springerle Mold Care: To clean your molds, gently wash with a drop of dish soap and water. A soft toothbrush works well to get in any small grooves. Rinse completely. Gently remove as much water as possible with a soft dish towel and dry carving side down on a clean dry towel or cooling rack to allow air flow. Dry completely before storing. Never leave your molds to soak in water or put them in a dishwasher.
