Description: The Christopher Ludwick gingerbread mold is an 18th century carved board once used by Christopher Ludwick, a Superintendent of Bakers under General George Washington during the Revolutionary War. The original mold -- which resides in the Museum of the American Revolution -- features two designs: an intricate potted flower on one side and a well dressed woman on the other.

In partnership with the museum, House on the Hill is proud to offer you our faithful reproduction of the LADY side of Ludwick's mold. A printed gingerbread recipe and history card are included with your purchase. This individual mold of the lady is a smaller size than the double sided original and measures 5" x 2.75".
